Great

Great Software very easy to use, really amazing if you compare it to a 100K USD or more software like Navision by MS

So far we are pleased with the application. We are starting to have some troubles integrating the data to our book-keeping system but we will stay with it.

The program works good really easy to use. The only thing I wish there was a iphone app to sync and created invoices and track inventory through your mbile device but all in all it is a great piece of software and has been a great asset to my business.

I think it is a very intuitive App, easy to understand and use, but in way a bit too basic and could definetly be improved. I would have preferred if it was possible to add more specific item details like color, type, or others, even better if personalized. Subcategories would also be useful. Also I was quite disappointed to notice that the Image of the items doesnt show in the inventory list report, that it would be very, very useful for a faster lookup of items….really hope you can fix this…

this wouldve been great if… reports would show total value for inventory, sales, purchase list reports. kinda blows my mind that this part was missing.

This is a great little piece of software. Easy to follow and set up. I love that you can import from CSV spreadsheet making uploading products much easier. I had a couple questions and was met with lighting quick responses, solutions and recommendations. It was refreshing to see such great customer service. This would be a 5 star rating if the reports gave you total values but Remember tho and compare prices to other inventory software before complaining because evey computer has a calculator so it seems like no totals are a small price to pay for the value of the product. For the price of three starbuck’s you really cant go wrong!!!!!!!!

This is a great program for small businesses! BUT, what makes this program superb is their support!! When I was having problems I wrote the software support team an email…within 5-10 minutes I had a response that explained step by step what I needed to do!! I have NEVER experienced such great customer service!! In my book this program and the the company behind it are great!!!!

We run a small retail shop in which we buy and resell country crafts. This has been a very helpful app for keeping track of our inventory. Support has been excellent. Our questions have been answered very quickly. A+

This is a great little software for tracking inventory and managing invoices. Way better than making a spreadsheet solution or building a database from scratch for the purpose. If you don’t want to pay Intuit, or another big outfit to use their software for your fledgling organization this is the tool for you. Get the math right. Print the invoice or purchase order you need. Track the coming and going of goods. Perfect. Two things I have had to find workarrounds for are: unit costs that are fractions of cents, and unit of measures that are less than one. The developer (who is very responsive to email inquiry) said they are working on a solution for these issues. What this means is that if you are making something that requires 6 inches to rope and you track rope in feet, there is no great way of saying 0.5 feet of rope is use to make this boat… Kind of a problem.

It is very nice and robust interface with obvious limitations on bulk operation (this was mentioned somewhere on developer website. Google sandbox limitations seem to have hendered some of the more advance functions developer wanted to include) but things as simple as selcting multiple record and basic edits in bunches are not available but good software. There are some good free ones out there though that offer more. Thank you for the work however.

After giving up up that I would ever find an inexpensive way to track my inventory, I discovered this program new to the app store and boy, am I ever glad I did! Using this program was easy to kick off and the benefits were immediate. Previous to this, I’d been struggling with excel spreadsheets, a real pain to update. mInventory allows me to easily track and look-up inventory, track sales and the cost/profit for items sold. The interface is pleasant and easy to navigate and the one time I had a question, I received a very timely email response. This program has made a very tedious aspect of running my business almost enjoyable.

After trying Quickbooks, Quickbooks Online, AccountEdge and a few of the free online accounting solutions I had pretty much given up on finding a reasonable fit for my small t-shirt biz. But minventory is working better than I would have imagined. It’s quick and lite, and has a small learning curve. I needed something that would allow me to track inventory for assembly of a final product using multible parts, and this does it very, very well. It’s not got a lot of fancy graphics and other gizmos, just a clean and straight forward interface. If youre running a global mega company, its probably not for you. But if you have a small business, and a life, and think accounting is a pain then this is something you should check out.

I am still working with the app so I can’t give FULL review. So far I am entering in my data for inventory. Once I had filled in 99 purchase orders there seemed to be an issue. I couldn’t make a new purchase without the data being dumped. I closed the app and reopened, things seemed OK after that. Another issue I run into is when I am opening a new PO, the window is blank or a scramble. It takes some attempts to close the window, close the app. and then reopen and things are fine for a while. Mind you I am binge loading data, so maybe I am freaking out the program. The data import function is handy, but will still require you to go back and enter data manually if you didn’t have the same cost value for all of your purchases. But say you made one purchase from one vendor, the import function works well to get yourself going. I am entering multiple years of data, so costs over time are not all the same. So far I like the program. How well will it work for me, time will tell. The biggest plus this has for me, is creating an item that uses other items. This is very handy. I haven’t fully tested this feature, but the concept is great!

Wow, this appears to be exactly what I was looking for — and I have been looking for a long time. I have a very small business that sells self-published comics and I have been using an old legacy version of Quickbooks I purchased years ago for a PC and have been running on my Mac via Windows XP/Parallels Desktop. I’ve been looking for a way to move away from Quickbooks — in terms of features and price, Quickbooks is way more software than I need and not worth nearly $300 given my needs to upgrade to the Mac version. Keeping track of expenses is simple enough and doesn’t require Quickbooks, but tracking inventory and the ability to generate invoices/sales receipts and subtract sales from the inventory was essential to me. It is shocking at how few options there are in terms of inventory management. All the alternative software and online options are not much cheaper — after all, it’s just a simple database, so I was surprised to see how few free/affordable apps were available. I finally stumbled across minventory and, given the price, decided to download and check it out. I haven’t tested it in the field yet, but in the dummy transactions I’ve run to see how it works, it seems to be exactly what I need!! Instructions could be a bit clearer in the user guides, but it was enough for me to figure things out. So far, two features I’d like to see are the ability to customize invoice/sales receipt layouts and the ability to customize the numbering conventions for invoices, purchase orders, etc. But even based on what I’ve seen so far, I HIGHLY recommend this. At some point, it’s possible a small/growing business may outgrow inventory and need to move to Quickbooks (which, as I’ve said, also tracks expenses, payroll, and other items), but for a small business that deals with inventory which can sometimes be the most difficult part of managing a business, this is a good introduction to inventory management.

I planned to use this program in combination with quickbooks for MAC. Quickbooks for MAC does not have BOM capibilities but Minventory does. I added all of my inventoried items to the system and started placing purchase orders to acquire the inventory on hand. After placing the third purchase order the program froze. I restarted my computer did the normal routine for a crashed program that is not working... End of story any item that is clicked on in the menu screen will only populate my items entered into the system even though the screen header will go to the option I click (say purchase orders or example) in the menu screen. I spent hours getting my items into the system only to have this garbage program crash and burn. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR YOUR TIME!!

Was very patient working with this company trying to resolve importing issues I was having. Works differently or not at all on different machines. Kindly asked for a refund and was refused. Stay away from this piece of garbage.

I absolutely loved this program and its simple layout until I realized one could not use a fraction of a Unit of Measure. I contacted the seller to request if there was a way around this as it seemed a pretty basic feature in an inventory program and was told to use the conversion tool, which is not possible for my business being that I need to enter goods purchased and sold in ounces. Seemed like such a simple feature to change in future versions, but was very discouraged by the company’s customer service and will be asking the App Store for a refund.

This application is great for tracking inventory, both individual items and build assemblies. Simple to use and informative. Necessary for any fabrication business.
